“Beyond the Walls” week will be March 6-13, 2020. The outreach project will involve teaching and preaching in the refugee camps in Matamoros. The construction project will focus on finishing the interior of the new dormitory/ apartment building at the Los Fresnos, TX campus of United in Christ Ministries. Mission to Mexico- a testimony from Mary Ann Wendell follows

     We had another amazing opportunity to spend our spring break with United in Christ ministries in south Texas and Mexico. So much progress in one year, and I feel honored to see first hand some of what we as a church are able to help support. Meeting the people we help and being involved in some of the hands on ministry is wonderful. We, as a group, were involved in bike repair (headed by Matt Brown of Emporia) to help provide much needed transportation. We organized Bible lessons, crafts, balloon art, hand painting, women's groups, gifts and snacks. We visited churches, the soup kitchen, men's rehab center... everywhere it was amazing to see the progress in only one year. God is moving to make things happen in such a big way. Now I can hardly wait until next year. Mark and Chacho send love and greetings to all. And they will want to tell us about their dream of a prayer garden being fulfilled by God in the persons of Lentin and Martha Farmer at Los Fresnes. Come next year and be part of this ministry.
