Council Grove Christian Church has been a witness to the life-changing power of the Lord Jesus Christ in the beautiful Flint Hills of Kansas since 1881. Today, ordinary people who worship an extraordinary God continue that legacy. Our church is a community of men, women, boys and girls who are seeking to live a life of faith by exalting God according to His Word the Bible.

     We try to do that through Worship that is joyous and reverent, Small groups where there is life and learning, Real Relationships where members love and help each other and an Outward Focus that compels us to both seriously study the Bible and diligently spread the good news of God’s great salvation through His Son Jesus Christ.

 We offer regularly scheduled worship opportunities, exciting and Christ-centered child and youth ministries and service projects for local, national and global outreach.

We are a local body with a global mission. We believe we are part of a great company of people from all tribes, tongues and nations who are, in the power of the Holy Spirit, attempting to fulfill the great commission of Jesus to “…go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28).

     We are committed to winning people to Christ, training them to be disciples and sending them out to impact the world to the glory of God.
